The Lakeland Limequat is a citrus hybrid between a Key lime and a round kumquat, developed in Florida. This productive tree produces oval yellow fruit with a bright, tangy lime flavor balanced by a slightly sweet edible peel. Lakeland fruits are typically larger than some other limequat varieties and are excellent for fresh use, beverages, marmalade, and cooking. The tree is attractive, productive, and well suited for warm climates and container growing.
