The Silverhill Satsuma is a notable Satsuma mandarin cultivar prized for its cold hardiness, early ripening, easy-to-peel skin, and excellent flavor. Its trees are vigorous, productive, and grow more upright compared to other Satsuma varieties.
 
Taste: Mildly sweet, tangy, and refreshing — less acidic and less perfumed than other mandarins, but with a clean, smooth taste. The flesh is very tender, extremely juicy, and melts in your mouth.
