The Canistel, also known as the Eggfruit, Cupcake fruit, Zapote amarillo, is a large, open, evergreen tree with dark green leaves. The Bruce Canistel is a high-performing cultivar, valued for its excellent flavor, productivity, and improved cold tolerance.
