The Cheena is a unique natural hybrid between jackfruit and champedak, selected in Australia. It produces small, elongated fruit with deep-orange flesh and a soft, melting texture. The flesh is exceptionally aromatic, sweet, and somewhat fibrous, and separates easily from the fruit. Its open, low-spreading growth habit and ability to stay compact with pruning make Cheena an excellent choice for smaller tropical fruit gardens.
