Hana Fuyu Persimmon, also known as Yotsundani or Giant Fuyu, is a premium Japanese non-astringent persimmon variety prized for its large, attractive fruit and excellent sweetness. The fruit is reddish-orange when ripe, squarish with four distinct lobes, and slightly flattened. It can be eaten crisp like an apple and is especially valued for its very sweet, crunchy texture. The tree remains relatively compact and also offers beautiful fall foliage color, adding ornamental appeal to the landscape.
