The Java Plum, also known as Jamun, Jambolan, or Indian Blackberry, is a fast-growing tropical evergreen tree that produces abundant crops of small, dark purple to nearly black fruit. The juicy flesh has a distinctive sweet-tart, slightly astringent flavor that becomes sweeter as the fruit fully ripens. Java plums are rich in vitamin C, iron, and antioxidants and can be enjoyed fresh or used in juices, jams, jellies, and traditional desserts.

Requirements: Full sun to partial shade, adaptable to various soils, regular watering while establishing.
