The MAI-1 Jackfruit is a highly regarded Asian variety prized for its large fruit, crispy texture, and sweet, aromatic flavor. The oval fruit contains thick, golden-yellow flesh that is firm and crunchy, with relatively little sticky latex, making it easier to clean and enjoy. MAI-1 is also a heavy producer that responds well to pruning, making it an excellent choice for Florida home gardens.
