The OLL-8 Orange is part of the new OLL (Orie and Louise Lee) series of sweet oranges developed by University of Florida citrus breeders in collaboration with grower and researcher Orie Lee and his family. This high-quality variety produces medium-sized fruit with juicy flesh and a balanced sweet-tart flavor, making it excellent for juicing. Known for its strong performance in Florida conditions and improved tolerance to citrus greening (HLB), OLL-8 is now considered a strong competitor to Valencia, long regarded as the gold standard for orange juice.
