The Ortanique is a natural tangor discovered in Jamaica. Its name comes from "or" (orange), "tan" (tangerine), and "ique" (unique). Also known as Unique, Mandor, Tambor, Topaz, or Urunique, this late-season variety produces medium to large fruit with tender, orange flesh that is exceptionally juicy, rich, and intensely sweet, balanced by a tangy citrus bite. The fruit holds exceptionally well on the tree, allowing for an extended harvest season.
