The Redlands White Sapote is a fast-growing, highly productive subtropical fruit tree developed in Florida, valued for its large, creamy fruit and early bearing. It produces round, yellow-green fruit with smooth, custard-like flesh that is sweet and mild, often compared to banana, vanilla pudding, or sweet cream. Grafted trees can begin producing quickly, making it an excellent choice for home gardens. This adaptable tree performs well in warm climates and can be maintained at a manageable size with pruning.
