The Sambo Sweet Lemon / Sanbokan Citrus is a unique citrus variety, originating from Japan, valued for its aromatic fruit and refreshing, balanced flavor. The fruit is large with yellow skin, thick and slightly rough rind that peels easily like a tangerine. The juicy flesh offers a sweet-to-sweet-tart flavor, often described as a blend of orange and grapefruit with a natural “lemonade” taste.
