The Southern Home Muscadine is a self-fertile hybrid grape, developed by the University of Florida, known for its deeply cut, maple-like foliage and sweet, deep-purple to black fruit. This vigorous vine is both ornamental and productive. The high-sugar berries are excellent for fresh eating, juice, jelly, and wine, and the plant thrives in heat and humidity.
