The Springhigh Blueberry is an early-ripening Southern Highbush variety developed by the University of Florida and well adapted to Central Florida. It produces large, attractive berries with good to excellent flavor on a vigorous, upright-growing bush. The berries have less of the typical waxy bloom than many blueberry varieties, giving them a distinctive darker-blue appearance. Springhigh ripens early in the Florida blueberry season, making it an excellent choice for gardeners looking for large, flavorful berries early in spring.
