The Tango Mandarin is a seedless selection developed by the University of California from the W. Murcott mandarin. It produces medium-sized fruit with a thin, easy-to-peel rind and deep orange, juicy flesh. Known for its rich, sweet-tart flavor and high juice content, it is excellent for fresh eating. This compact, productive tree performs well in warm climates and remains largely seedless even when grown near other citrus, making it a reliable choice for home gardens and containers.
