The Tropic Sweet Apple is a low-chill variety developed by the University of Florida for warm climates. It produces very sweet, crunchy fruit with low acidity and a flavor similar to a Gala apple. The fruit has a light red blush over yellow skin and may develop some russeting in certain years.
