The Bay Leaf, also known as Bay Laurel, is an evergreen Mediterranean shrub or small tree cultivated for its aromatic leaves used in cooking. Its glossy foliage adds elegance to the landscape, while its culinary value makes it a favorite for kitchen gardens. Bay Laurel grows well in warm climates and can also be maintained in a container, pruned into a hedge, or shaped topiary-style.
