The Fallglo Tangerine was developed by the USDA as part of a breeding program in Florida. It is a hybrid between the Bower tangerine and the Temple orange. The name "Fallglo" reflects both its early ripening season in the fall and its bright, glowing orange color. The fruit is round to slightly flattened at the ends, with a skin that is easy to peel.
