The Lee Tangerine is a lesser-known but outstanding mid-season mandarin hybrid known for its exceptional flavor. It was developed in the mid-20th century at the USDA Laboratory in Orlando. This variety is a cross between the Clementine mandarin and the Orlando tangelo.
 
Taste: Exceptionally rich, sweet, and well-balanced — highly aromatic and juicy. Regarded as one of the best-tasting tangerines.
