The Mexicola Avocado is a Mexican-type avocado prized for its exceptional cold hardiness, high oil content, and rich flavor. It produces small fruit with glossy purple-black skin that is so thin it can be eaten along with the flesh. The creamy flesh has a rich, nutty taste and excellent texture, making it a favorite among avocado enthusiasts. This vigorous and productive tree is one of the most cold-tolerant avocado varieties and is well suited for home gardens in cooler avocado-growing regions.
