The Red Custard Apple (Annona reticulata) is a tropical Annona fruit tree, known for its reddish-pink to deep red skin and creamy, custard-like flesh. The fruit is heart-shaped to oval, with smooth to slightly reticulated skin. Inside, the flesh ranges from pink to reddish and is soft, sweet, and aromatic, with a rich flavor often compared to a blend of custard, raspberry, and tropical fruit. Red Custard Apple trees are vigorous and adaptable, making them an excellent addition to tropical and subtropical gardens.
