The Temple Orange, also known as the Royal Mandarin, is a classic citrus hybrid (tangor) originating from Jamaica. It is a cross between a tangerine and a sweet orange and includes many sub-varieties. The fruit is medium with a slightly loose rind and deep orange flesh that is juicy and aromatic. It is prized for its rich, sweet-tart flavor with complex citrus notes, making it excellent for fresh eating.
