The Violette de Bordeaux Fig is a French heirloom variety often praised as one of the best-tasting figs in the world. Compact in size yet highly productive, this variety produces small to medium figs with dark purple to almost black skin and deep strawberry-red flesh. Its smaller growth habit makes it ideal for containers and small gardens.
