SoursopTrees
Soursop trees, also known as guanabana or graviola, produce large, heart-shaped tropical fruits covered in soft, green spines. Beneath their unusual exterior lies creamy white flesh with a refreshing sweet-tart flavor often compared to a blend of pineapple, strawberry, and citrus. Closely related to sugar apples, cherimoyas, and atemoyas, soursops belong to the Annona family and are especially popular throughout the Caribbean and Latin America. These tropical trees thrive in Florida's warmest climates but are sensitive to cold and require protection from frost.
