Olive Trees
Olive trees have been cultivated for thousands of years and are prized for their remarkable longevity, silvery-green foliage, and distinctive fruit. Although traditionally associated with Mediterranean climates, certain olive varieties can grow successfully in parts of Florida when provided with plenty of sun and well-drained soil. Different varieties produce olives that vary in size, flavor, and oil content, with some grown primarily for eating and others prized for producing olive oil.
