Passion fruit vines are vigorous tropical climbers known for their spectacular, intricate flowers and intensely aromatic fruit. Their unusual blossoms feature colorful filaments and complex structures that make them among the most fascinating flowers in the plant kingdom. Depending on the variety, passion fruits can have purple or yellow skins, with juicy, seed-filled pulp ranging from pleasantly sweet to intensely tart. These fast-growing vines thrive in Florida's warm climate and can cover trellises, fences, and arbors while producing delicious tropical fruit.
