Sugar & Custard Apple Trees
Sugar apple trees, also known as sweetsop or anón, produce some of the most distinctive tropical fruits, with knobby, segmented skins and exceptionally sweet, creamy flesh. Their delicate, custard-like pulp has a rich flavor often compared to vanilla, pear, and tropical fruit. Closely related to cherimoya, atemoya, and soursop, sugar apples belong to the fascinating Annona family. We also include custard apple trees in this category because of their similar appearance, creamy fruit, and closely related botanical origins. These tropical fruit trees thrive in Florida's warm climate. We also carry the other related Annonas such as Ilama and Cherimoya
