The Callie Kumquat is a compact, productive citrus variety prized for its small, flavorful fruit with a sweet, thin edible peel and low acidity. The entire fruit can be eaten fresh, peel and all, making it excellent for snacking straight from the tree. The tree has attractive evergreen foliage and a thorny growth habit, so care should be taken when harvesting or pruning.
