The Ison is a premium muscadine grape variety developed at Ison’s Nursery and considered one of the best self-fertile cultivars available. Known for its excellent size, uniform ripening, and outstanding production, Ison produces beautiful large clusters of flavorful black grapes. With high sugar content and rich flavor, it is exceptional for fresh eating, juice, jelly, and especially winemaking. The edible skin — the most nutritious part of the grape — adds both flavor and health benefits.
