The Sugar Belle® Mandarin is a patented citrus hybrid developed by the University of Florida from a cross between Clementine and Minneola tangelo. It produces bright orange fruit with a distinctive bell shape and is prized for its rich, sweet flavor balanced with a pleasant tang. Easy to peel and typically seedless, it is excellent for fresh eating. This variety is also valued for its strong tolerance to citrus greening (HLB), good cold hardiness, and reliable production, making it a popular choice for both growers and home gardens.
